Everytown is a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.

Campaign Leader: Everytown for Gun Safety

City, State: Nationwide

Campaign Experiences

About the Campaign:

Gun violence touches every town in America. For too long, change has been thwarted by the Washington gun lobby and by leaders who refuse to take common-sense steps that will save lives.

But something is changing. More than 3 million mayors, moms, cops, teachers, survivors, gun owners, and everyday Americans have come together to make their own communities safer. Together, we are fighting for the changes that we know will save lives.

What We’re Fighting For

How We Will Win

OPPOSE Concealed Carry Reciprocity

Congress just introduced Senate Bill 446, an extremely dangerous bill they’re calling “concealed carry reciprocity” that would force all 50 states to allow stalkers, domestic abusers, and people with no safety training to carry hidden, loaded guns in public — even the legally blind.

OPPOSE Concealed Carry Reciprocity

Send an overwhelming message of opposition to Congress. Call your senators and tell them you OPPOSE concealed carry reciprocity.

When you reach a staff member or a voicemail box, please tell them the following things:

  1. Tell them your name, and that you’re a constituent.
  2. Tell them to vote NO on Senate Bill 446, what they call “concealed carry reciprocity”.

Say NO to a dangerous gun silencers measure

The distinctive noise that a gun makes is one of its most important safety features: when people hear a gunshot, they know to run, hide, protect themselves or notify law enforcement.

Now the corporate gun lobby, gun silencer spokesman Donald Trump, Jr., and their friends in Congress are pushing for radical legislation that would profit gun companies by gutting silencer safety requirements.

Say NO to a dangerous gun silencers measure

Call your Representative in Congress and tell them to OPPOSE this gun silencers measure.

When you reach a staff member or a voicemail box, please tell them the following things:

  1. Tell them that you want your representative to remove the gun silencer provision from the SHARE Act.
  2. Then, tell them that — in the wrong hands — silencers make it harder for bystanders and law enforcement to react quickly to shootings.
