Grow the Housing First Model
Every woman housed in Los Angeles. At DWC, we know housing first is key to an individual’s successful transition out of homelessness and on the path to success. Housing First is a research-based solution to ending homelessness that prioritizes providing housing to individuals experiencing homelessness as quickly as possible without preconditions. This approach is based on the belief that people require their food, shelter, and safety needs to be met first in order to begin the path to personal stability.
