To be able to care for the people you love, you must first take care of yourself. We often put our own mental and physical health at a lower priority when helping others but the best way to be present and help the people we love is to focus on our own self-care first. Through Treat Yourself for Mental Health, you can do both!
All events and experiences in Treat Yourself for Mental Health offer self-care services, classes and experiences while raising money and awareness for organizations providing critical resources for mental health. Join a class and take time for you knowing you're also bringing a lot of good into the world.
Please Note: these events do not offer medical services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis please utilize these resources:

Hi! I'm Gabby. I live in West Hollywood, CA. I am passionate about community, education, civil rights, art, writing, crafting, and yoga. I am the Director of Partnerships for a community connections/ neighborhood networking app called Bailiwik. Bailiwik helps people turn places into communities. We believe that unconditonal membership in the human community is a basic requirement of life, and that the people around us are a key part of that community. Our app enables local connectors to create a warm, welcoming real-world community by putting them into a central role as creator and host. They define their community on the map, they name it, they design its color scheme, and they play a leading host role in the shared community chat room. Community members chat with each other, share events, enjoy deals from local merchants -- and live richer and more fun lives as a result, connecting online -- and off. See Less
