bites, bevvies and fancy AF fun with Yelp

Get Your Tickets

Experience Description

It's post-holidays and we are all feeling fresh with our New Year's resolutions. Time to get fancy AF and celebrate all things winter for a good cause. Enjoy bites, adult bevies, and dance like nobody is watching with us at NATIV Hotel's beautiful boutique property hosted by Yelp. SameSide will provide a photobooth and advocacy opportunites.

Dressing up is highly encouraged. Ball gowns and tuxedos would be stellar but your fanciest attire will also do just fine. Let's show this city just how classy we can get! This event is free with a *highly* suggested $5 donation to Yelp's NPO. 100% of donations benefit the NPO, The Women's Bean Project (bit.ly/2DSEDJ3). Register here.

At SameSide, our mission is two-fold. One, we want to inspire people to host experiences that make the world a better place, and help our hosts earn money in the process. And two, we want to inspire people to attend those experiences – to turn off the TV for a night, get out of the house, and go be a part of something amazing. Our goal is to reach the millions of people who want to “get involved” and “do good” but aren’t sure where to begin, or feel like they just don’t have time. At SameSide, we believe that getting involved doesn’t necessarily mean “marching in a protest” or “attending a fundraiser.” There are lots of other ways to make a positive contribution. We want to show people hundreds of options they hadn’t considered before. Our core mission is to inspire people to “get up and do something.” Big, small, close to home, or across the country…just find something that excites you and do it.

How We Are Making a Difference

Social Media Advocacy

Channel your channels for change instead of avocado toast. Posting on social media gives you the ability to direct messages and photos at specific reps through public and highly trafficked channels. These days, elected officials have staff members specifically designated to monitor incoming inquiries, which means they're always listening- especially if this content comes through en masse. Not only will reps be listening, but your social network will be watching as well.
