Join Institution Ale House - Santa Barbara and SameSide for a World Cup Watch Party to stand with the incredible women of U.S. Soccer and their fight for equal pay. Together, we'll watch them dominate on the field and learn about how they've changed the game to close the wage gap off the field. This event is in alliance with the #MillionforaMillion campaign to end wage discrimination for all women. Onsite will be simple ways to take action to achieve equal pay through the digital campaign while we watch USA vs Thailand while you wash sweet victory down with an IPA or amber blonde.

Using text keywords in phone-to-action is a simple and quick way to contact your reps about issues you're passionate about. Your host will guide you through three easy steps to contact your representatices via email.
Social Media Advocacy
Channel your channels for change instead of avocado toast. Posting on social media gives you the ability to direct messages and photos at specific reps through public and highly trafficked channels. These days, elected officials have staff members specifically designated to monitor incoming inquiries, which means they're always listening- especially if this content comes through en masse. Not only will reps be listening, but your social network will be watching as well.

At SameSide, our mission is two-fold. One, we want to inspire people to host experiences that make the world a better place, and help our hosts earn money in the process. And two, we want to inspire people to attend those experiences – to turn off the TV for a night, get out of the house, and go be a part of something amazing.
