Experience Description

This Valentine's day come sweat, practice self-love and take a stand.

Fact #1: We all know Ruth loves to get her workout on. She takes a stand in the courtroom and also for her physical health.

Fact #2: Working out is one GREAT way to dedicate a little self-love. And that's exactly what we will do on this Valentine's Day. Get ready to sweat, move and call forth your inner fierce RBG in this full-body workout lead by Compass Fitness Co-owner Jillian Keaveny.

After class we will honor our girl RBG by advocating for the FAMLI Act

This experience is in partnership with the On the Basis of Sex Movie, the ACLU, and Participant Media.

How We Are Making a Difference

Social Media Advocacy

Channel your channels for change instead of avocado toast. Posting on social media gives you the ability to direct messages and photos at specific reps through public and highly trafficked channels. These days, elected officials have staff members specifically designated to monitor incoming inquiries, which means they're always listening- especially if this content comes through en masse. Not only will reps be listening, but your social network will be watching as well.

Phone Calls to Reps

Hello... it's me. Believe it or not, your phone does more than just text or post. Most elected officials have staff members on hand specifically to answer phone calls from their constituents. So ring 'em up and let 'em hear it.
