The Experience

Sunday, February 18th | 10:00AM-12:00PM

Join us for an immersive gardening experience with local horticultural therapist, Rooney, as we curate the perfect terrarium and advocate for sustainable compost programs.

Often times these translucent talking pieces need little to NO maintenance and provide a sustainable, lasting alternative to the traditional flower arrangement. In this hands-on class, attendees will learn how to design, build, and maintain a closed lid terrarium. Be prepared to get a little dirty, as this workshop is intended to teach you how to create a personalized rainforest in your home. After we plant, we’ll learn about the importance and impact of sustainability programs in our local schools and businesses.

Bring any questions you have about plants, because this is your chance to ask Denver’s greenery expert.
