Experience Description

When history was being made, did you make yourself part of it? The midterm elections are almost here... YIKES! What better way to celebrate and prepare than a pre-election soiree Friday, November 2nd hosted by Pat Lambert and Kate Hefler! They are ready to help mobilize and excite voter turnout the weekend before the Midterm elections. You don't want to miss this exclusive cocktail party filled with drinks, music by DJ Daisy O’Dell, and food from Shake Shack and more!

This event has 2 main goals: to promote voter turnout and distribute a curated, progressive LA county voting guide that can help people make more informed choices at the polls and can be shared via text and email with friends before November 6! LA had the biggest Women's March in the world and less than 3% voter turnout in June. This is our chance to make a change. A $20 donation is suggested. Please RVSP by October 30, 2018 to MIDTERMVOTER2018@GMAIL.COM.

Download the progressive voter guide here or text SAMESIDE to 52886!

How We Are Making a Difference

Social Media Advocacy

Channel your channels for change instead of avocado toast. Posting on social media gives you the ability to direct messages and photos at specific reps through public and highly trafficked channels. These days, elected officials have staff members specifically designated to monitor incoming inquiries, which means they're always listening- especially if this content comes through en masse. Not only will reps be listening, but your social network will be watching as well.

Phone Calls to Reps

Hello... it's me. Believe it or not, your phone does more than just text or post. Most elected officials have staff members on hand specifically to answer phone calls from their constituents. So ring 'em up and let 'em hear it.
